Two reading layouts
The layout switch sits in the top bar on every page. It is independent of light and dark, so either layout works in either.
- Editorial — a single reading column with generous margins. Built for reading at length.
- Study — panels. Translation beside the Arabic, tafsir in a side panel, more on screen at once.
The switch is available on every page, the home page included — study tightens the landing grid the same way it tightens a reading page.
Light and dark
Separate from the mode, on purpose. Editorial in dark is a warm, low-light reading surface for the night; study in dark keeps its cooler cast because it is still working software at three in the morning.
Following a recitation
Play any verse and the recitation continues through the passage. With Follow on, the verse being recited stays lit and the rest dim, so your eye stays where the voice is.
Follow belongs to the player, not to dark mode. It works in every mode and either theme.
